The REAL DEAL !!! “0” miles since complete nut-and-bolt “ground-up” restoration. 428 c.i. 4-V big block Cobra Jet V8 engine producing an under-rated 335 horsepower (actually closer to 400 horsepower). 1 of 335 factory built Shelby GT500 (1969-1970 model) convertibles built for entire worldwide production, according to the Deluxe Marti Report 1 of 6 factory 1970 GT500 convertibles in Shelby Grabber Yellow (#3470-a), as documented in the Shelby Registry (special order #2682). This colour is darker and deeper than Mustang Grabber Yellow, and was a Shelby-only colour. Built in Dearborn Michigan on May 26th, 1969. Built, and presented today with black knit vinyl hi-back bucket seats, 3.50 Traction-Lok rear axle (original to this car), C-6 Select Shift automatic transmission. White power top with glass backlite, visibility group, Goodyear tires, power front disc brakes, power steering, tilt-away steering wheel, interior décor group, AM radio, tinted glass, deluxe belts/warning light, competition suspension, tachometer and trip odometer. Fresh “nut-and-bolt” cost no object, ground up entire restoration performed (by Shelby marque specialist) to incredibly high standards with “0” miles since completion. Listed in both the SAAC international registry, and the Shelby American/Team Shelby factory database. Documentation includes owner’s manual, Deluxe Marti Report, the original factory order sheet (rare document), and original Ford-to-Shelby-to-dealer invoice (rare document). A very late build, and has the highly desirable “heavy duty suspension” option. These big suspension Shelbys are the most sought-after of all 1969-1970 Shelbys amongst collectors worldwide. A very rare sight, and even more rare… 1-of-6 ever built in striking Grabber Yellow. One of the finest of its kind in existence. An extremely desirable, part of Shelby history, and very strong appreciating “Blue Chip” investment motorcar.**FULLY CERTIFIED**
