1970 PLYMOUTH 'CUDA 440 6-PACK "CONVERTIBLE"

650 miles (since complete nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration). 1-of-623 factory built 'Cuda convertibles built for entire world-wide production model year! Originally built with a 383 c.i. wedge V8 engine, the engine was upgraded to a 440 c.i. V8 motor and the Six-Pack option, with three two-barrel carburators enabling 390 + horsepower during the complete body-off restoration, “SHAKER” hood. Transmission is Chrysler’s indestructible 727 Torqueflite Automatic. Tires are white-letter BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s, and a dual exhaust completes the power train. A complete body-off restoration has been performed to incredibly high standards, and better than delivered new condition with less than 650 miles since completion by marque specialist (over $120,000 invested and 1,200+ man hours spent on restoration alone). Finished in factory ordered as new Plum-Crazy Metallic (fc7) with interior in original as built black bucket seats leather option (prx9). Built October 15 / 1969 at the Hamtramck, Michigan USA plant (b). Additional options and features include: Original color black convertible top as built new (v3x), Rallye instrument cluster package (a62), “1970 only” deluxe seat belts (c15), Bucket seats option (c55), Left-hand 6-way adjustable bucket seat (c62), Factory “air-conditioning” with heater option…rare (h51), Hood tie down pins (j45), Dual exhaust (n41), Chrome exhaust tips (n42), Tachometer (n85), Power windows (p31), Power convertible top (p37), Am/fm stereo radio (r35), Built to USA specifications (y05), 26-inch radiator (26). Originally built with over “21” factory options and features, a very special build indeed when new. Original trim tags. 440-side striping in black. The restoration - laser straight and finish simply spectacular, panel gaps correct and true. Brightwork and chrome outstanding, glass work spectacular, all rubber trim moist and properly fit. Interior completely refreshed with seats, trim, interior fittings, chrome, dash board etc in near new condition. The engine, fully rebuilt from the ground up runs incredibly smooth, and engine bay is fully detailed. Underside of this vehicle simply spectacular, with fully painted floors, and detailed undercarriage to virtually new condition. Soft top correct, and replaced including rear window. The painstaking effort and attention to detail and quality of this special Mopar muscle car cannot be overlooked.
