In a time when it seems nearly every new car on the market brags about having a "panoramic" roof panel, it's hard to imagine how innovative this Mercury was in 1954. The first production car with a see through roof panel, these "glasstop" Mercury's were an amazing car to behold 63 years ago and they remain so today. Seldom seen even when new and scarcely offered for sale today, this incredibly rare Mercury has had a complete frame off restoration. The professionally applied paint still glows as freshly applied and well it should, there are just 100 miles on this car since restoration. An original Canadian car that will attract a crowd with its fender skirts, wide whitewall tires, Mercury full wheelcovers, dual exhaust with chrome tips and dual exterior mirrors. Powered by a 256 V8 with automatic transmission, it may well prove to be a very long time before another chance to purchase a Mercury glass top comes your way..
