Sold at $3,300
The Mullins Metal Stamping Company of Salem, Ohio had long established themselves as a premier supplier to a wide variety of industrial needs by the time they made the decision to manufacture and sell their now highly collectible "Red Cap" trailers. Produced for a very short time in the late 30's, it has been estimated that approximately 2000 were all that were ever made. This rarity has been compounded by time leaving only a handful of these unique and highly desired antique trailers in existence. The example offered here remains in spectacular condition and shows off its two tone finish to great effect. The wide whitewall tires mounted on wire spoke wheels add to the period correct appearance. Seldom offered for sale, this is a rare opportunity for anyone seeking to own a Mullins trailer.
